Lots of Good Stuff

Well, I went on a shopping spree yesterday in Portland and found all kinds of goodies for the Pieceful Designs shows to come. After many requests, I've purchased fabric to kit up the Happy Birthday, Play Ball and There's Somethin' Fishy Here wall hangings. I also purchased fabric for a new pattern that will debut at the International Quilt Market in Houston this coming October. I'll be busy cutting and packaging! I met up with my friend Robin and she was a great advisor! I will officially call her my "unofficial color and design consultant". So, now it's off to putting that fabric to work....

Too hot for quilting!

This is the first posting to my new blog spot! It's 100 degrees outside and no air conditioning inside, so toooo hot to quilt today! I'm in the process of getting a nice new brochure made for Pieceful Designs as well as putting the finishing touches on some new patterns to debut at Quilt Market in Houston in October. I've had lots of requests for kits, so I'm purchasing fabric to get those requests to reality. Wait till you see the new "It's a Dog's Life" wall hanging to become the counter part of the cat "There's Somethin' Fishy Here" wall hanging! The fabric design is brand new and part of the purchase from the fabric will benefit the Humane Society.
Well, off to run errands...keep cool!
